Sports Festival at Sweet Valley Primary

Chas Everitt Cape Town South sponsoring 1200 programmes again this year for Sports Festival at Sweet Valley Primary.

Building on a long-standing involvement with Sweet Valley Primary where we have two agents who have and had children at the school so it is no surprise and our great pleasure to sponsor 1200 programmes again this year.

“It is a Long and happy association with the school and a privilege to be a part of their community and events and I appreciate the opportunity to get involved,” said Cecily Madison, Chas Everitt’s Bergvliet/Meadowridge area specialist.

See you at the Sports Festival at Sweet Valley Primary on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

Red@Beau Constantia

Red@Beau Constantia

RED @ BEAU is a dedicated event to launch the Reddam Sports Foundation; A foundation that is committed to giving deserving students the opportunity to attend Reddam House – a fitting sentiment in that Reddam is Latin for “give back”.

In order to raise funds for the Reddam Sports Foundation, we have lined up two of the hottest acts in South Africa: LOCNVILLE and Freshlyground, to perform at Beau Constantia.

Our dress code for the day is strictly casual, with a splash of red…

If you are going to join us for RED @ BEAU, please remember the following:
• Cash, should you wish to purchase something from our Food Trucks, or drinks from our bar setups
• Blankets, as it can get chilly at night

** Please note; in the interest of responsible alcohol use and your own safety, we encourage you to make use of an UBER or taxi, rather than driving through. The estate will be CLOSED to vehicular traffic on the day, with limited parking available at Constantia Nek.

Tickets are available from Webtickets at R350.00 for pupils and R500.00 for adults.

Date: 24 February 2018

Constantia Waldorf Fair

Constantia Waldorf Fair

The Constantia Waldorf Fair is back and, as always, promises to be a fun-filled day packed with activities, entertainment, food stalls and delicious things to drink.

The fair begins at 10am, with a parade by all the school children at 10.30am, followed by the traditional maypole dance at 11am. Other entertainment comes in the form of a stilt walker, jugglers and magicians, and live music performances (by students and other artists including Chloe Spreckley, Rosie Bruce of the Cameron Bruce Collective, and DJ Simon on the main stage).

FAMILY FUN

Kids’ activities include candle-dipping, a matchbox castle, a kids’ market, dunk-the-teacher, a haunted house, Jeepers Creepers, afoofie slide, slacklining, face-painting, fishy fishy, dart tombola, henna tattoos, giant foosball, an apple orchard, pillow fights, sumo wrestling, table tennis, a pool table, and knife throwing.

BRING A BLANKET TO CHILL ON

This year’s fair takes place in and around the primary school, with the many trees providing ample shade. So bring a picnic blanket, find a spot to chill, and enjoy the live music and delicious food and drinks on offer, which include pancakes, samosas, boerewors rolls, burgers, quiche and salad, curry and rice, and much more.

And, if all the excitement tires you out, there’s a chill lounge where you can relax and listen to music, or browse the secondhand book sale, art exhibition, and arts and craft market. There’s even talk of a snake show…
