Holy Redeemer Catholic Church

The well-known church in Bergvliet Road, the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church was blessed and opened in 1925.

Holy Redeemer Church, is home to a thriving worshiping community of all ages. At the heart of the parish community is a Community of Redemptorist Missionaries who live in the adjoining Monastery.

1st Meadowridge Scout Group

1st Meadowridge Scout Group was founded by Mr Stuart McPhearson and his wife at the beginning of the Meadowridge Garden Cities Project in the 1950’s. They initially started running the Scouts and Cubs from their garage until the Hall was completed in 1962, which is still their current home.
